The towels at the gym no longer wrap all the way around me and my biking shirts are soon to become shorty-tops… which would be great if it were the 80s!
I am finding it increasingly difficult to reconcile taking a spin class but barely sweating. I almost feel like I’m not doing much cardio at all, but keeping cool is my top priority! At least my legs are staying strong.
Today’s class was all climbing. Had I known this beforehand I would have adjusted my seat differently. As it was, I had raised it and brought it forward to give my belly more room. Unfortunately when I stood up to climb that meant my seat was in the way! I never felt out of breath or overheated when I was out of the saddle but when I sat after each climb I had to cool down. Weird.
The class was short and I limited myself to one set of core exercises before showering and heading to work.
