As a mom, I’m learning to make every second of workout time count. Today that meant a Pilates workout during nap time, commuting by bike and running on my dinner break.
My run was short and to the point- straight up, an easy flat, then right back down. I zipped by a guy on the way up, nearly fell on my face as I checked out a car bumper sticker, then tried to be light on my feet as I pounded down the hills. My view from the top was spectacular & I played with the panorama feature on my phone.
The US half marathon is 4 months away and my goal is to be sure I’m running at least 15 miles a week by the end of June without compromising my newly found speed. Go, go, go!
